NHS treatment

Your eye condition will most likely be diagnosed by your optician or your GP. They will talk you through all of your treatment options and outline all of your choices for where you can be treated. Then it’s up to you to decide where you’d like to have your treatment – it’s your right as an NHS patient.

Things you might find helpful to consider:

  • What are the typical waiting times for surgery?
  • What patient feedback does the clinic have?
  • What aftercare would be provided to you?
  • Is the clinic easily accessible to you from home?

Once you’ve looked around, and you’re happy with your decision, just let your optician or GP know where you’d like to go and they’ll make the arrangements for your referral.

Going private

In some of our clinics, we’re also able to offer a private service for self-paying or insured patients.
