I am a consultant ophthalmologist with broad experience managing all medical retina and uveitis disorders, developing a particular expertise managing these conditions in and around cataract surgery.
My other areas of expertise include retinal vein occlusions, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, uveitis, glaucoma, ophthalmic primary care, cataract surgery and correction of astigmatism.
I achieved a diploma with commendation in cataract and refractive surgery from Ulster University and Royal College of Ophthalmologists. I also carried out twoyear retina and uveitis fellowships at University Hospital of Cambridge and Moorfields Eye Hospital, where I was able to work under world-renowned consultants and gain broad experience.
