Mr. Kunal Gadhvi is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Clinical Partner known for his dedication to integrating safety and patient-centred care with advanced surgical techniques. He emphasises a personalised approach, empowering patients throughout their treatment journeys. As a fully accredited laser and refractive surgeon, Mr. Gadhvi holds a postgraduate diploma (PGDip) in laser refractive and cataract surgery.

Mr. Gadhvi introduced laser-assisted corneal transplantation and laser cross-linking to The Royal Liverpool Hospital, making it one of the select centres in the UK offering these cutting-edge treatments. His work ensures that patients receive the latest innovations in vision correction and care.

A graduate of Imperial College London, where he earned his degree with distinction, Mr. Gadhvi has over a decade of surgical experience, including five years at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, the largest specialist eye centre in Europe.

Mr. Gadhvi is also an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Liverpool, where he contributes to the education and mentoring of future ophthalmologists. His research has led to over 30 publications, primarily focused on corneal innovations, and he frequently shares his expertise as an invited lecturer, including recent engagements in Switzerland. Additionally, he is a member of a clinical working group dedicated to advancing best practices in corneal care across the UK.
