Help transform people’s lives with a career at Newmedica

Newmedica provides specialist eyecare services for both NHS and private patients across England. Focusing on protecting people’s sight through the treatment of advanced eye conditions, we care for more than 160,000 patients a year in more than 26 convenient locations. We believe in treating each patient as an individual, taking the time to understand their needs and feelings, and making sure they feel cared for at every stage, so they can get back to doing what they love

About us

Newmedica is unique among ophthalmology providers. We were founded by a former eye patient who teamed up with a leading Ophthalmology consultant to transform the patient experience and deliver the best care possible. Their vision was to change lives through better sight and vision and make a positive difference to peoples’ lives – and it’s still at the heart of each of our clinics today. We’ve built our services based on personal experience. That’s why we always start with our patients’ needs and make sure they’re taken care of with total understanding and compassion.

From their initial consultation to the aftercare we provide, we’re here to support our patients whenever they need it, so they can keep doing what they love.

Newmedica – a Great Place to Work

We recently asked colleagues from across Newmedica to tell us what it’s like to work here. We wanted to understand their experiences, so we could see what more we can do to create a thriving culture and a workplace we’re all proud to belong to.

The feedback we received was incredible, and, because of that, we’ve been named a Great Place to Work (GPTW). GPTW is a global benchmark that recognises employers who create an outstanding employee experience.

Here’s just a couple of the comments we received from colleagues about why Newmedica’s a great place to work:

“Newmedica is filled with really passionate people who really strive to do amazing things”

“I feel this is a Great Place to work as you're made to feel comfortable and at ease with anything you do. I would personally recommend this to a friend as you're supported throughout your journey within Newmedica whether it’s you taking on bigger and better opportunities or wanting to better yourself within your role.”

What’s in it for you

You’ll be part of a friendly and passionate team who make an amazing difference every day to so many patients’ lives. While you’re taking care of our patients, we’re here to take care of you.
