Mr Miles Parnell is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at The Royal Eye Unit, Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in London having previously worked as the clinical lead for glaucoma at the Princess Royal University Hospital, King's College NHS Foundation Trust.
He specialises in all aspects of glaucoma and cataract surgery, as well as in general eye complaints. He has a particular interest in cataract and glaucoma surgery, in particular minimally invasive glaucoma surgery.
He offers laser treatment as well as surgical treatments such as trabeculectomy and aqueous shunts. He obtained his medical degree from Imperial College in London, where he also acquired a B.Sc. in Endocrinology. He conducted research into glaucoma at the Institute of Ophthalmology in London, obtaining an MSc. with distinction. He underwent specialist training in ophthalmology at Moorfield's at St George's and St Thomas' Hospital and also undertook a glaucoma fellowship at King's College Hospital.
He offers appointments at Kingston Hospital, BMI Blackheath Hospital and BMI The Sloane Hospital.
