Ms Sara Nuñez Marquez is a Fellowship-trained Ophthalmologist with subspecialty expertise in oculoplastics, lacrimal pathology, and orbits. She holds a European Board of Ophthalmology Fellowship (FEBO) and has over a decade of experience working across leading healthcare systems in Europe and North America. She is currently a Consultant Ophthalmologist at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and Newmedica Leicester.
Her practice focuses on the diagnosis and management of complex periocular conditions, combining advanced surgical expertise with a compassionate, patient-focused approach. She is committed to delivering safe, personalised care, helping patients feel informed, reassured, and confident throughout their treatment journey.
Ms Nuñez Marquez offers a wide range of functional and cosmetic periocular procedures, including blepharoplasty, ptosis correction and treatment of periocular lesions.
She is also actively involved in teaching and serves as an EBO examiner.
