£250 discount to the price of cataract surgery for each eye for self-funding patients who are over the age of 18 and who are residents of the Bailiwick of Guernsey travelling to Newmedica Hampshire for cataract surgery. Not available for those whose surgery is being funded by private medical insurance. Available only for surgery taking place prior to 1^st August 2025. Not available in conjunction with any other offer. You may be required to have an eye test with your local optometrist before referral for surgery and you may be charged for this.

Day trip for surgery with no overnight stay in the UK is subject to the patient being confirmed post surgery as fit to fly the same day by the consultant who performed the surgery. Any travel arrangements are potentially subject to delays beyond the control of the Newmedica Group or any of its employees or contractors. If the consultant considers post surgery that the patient is not fit to fly back to the Bailiwick on the day of surgery, Newmedica will pay for the cost of overnight accommodation and the change of flight only for the patient. Newmedica will not cover any costs of subsistence or costs incurred by companions. Newmedica will not pay for overnight accommodation costs, travel costs or any other costs incurred as a consequence of travel delays outside the control of the Newmedica Group or any of its employees or contractors.
