This offer is available exclusively to self-paying patients who are residents of the Channel Islands (Jersey and the Bailiwick of Guernsey) and are receiving cataract surgery at the Newmedica Hampshire clinic.
Offer Details
A £250 discount per eye is applied to the standard self-pay price of cataract surgery for Channel Islands residents to assist towards travel costs, e.g. for surgery usually costing £2,295 per eye reducing the cost to from £2,045 per eye.
Eligibility
Proof of residency in the Channel Islands will be required at the time of booking.
This offer applies only to self-paying patients receiving cataract surgery at Newmedica Hampshire. It is not available for those whose surgery is being funded by private medical insurance, using any lens.
The offer is only available for surgery taking place prior to 01.11.2026.
Important Information
While complication rates are very low, Newmedica will not cover the cost of return travel to Hampshire for any follow-up treatment or management of complications once the patient has returned to the Channel Islands.
Patients are responsible for arranging and funding their own travel and accommodation. Any travel arrangements are potentially subject to delays beyond the control of the Newmedica Group or any of its employees or contractors.
If the consultant considers post surgery that the patient is not fit to fly back to the Channel Islands on the day of surgery, Newmedica will provide overnight accommodation. However, the cost of any additional flights will not be covered by Newmedica, therefore, patients are encouraged to book flexible flight options from the outset.
Newmedica will not cover any costs of subsistence or costs incurred by companions. Newmedica will not pay for overnight accommodation costs, travel costs or any other costs incurred as a consequence of travel delays outside the control of the Newmedica Group or any of its employees or contractors.
Overnight stays are recommended for bilateral surgery to ensure appropriate recovery and post-operative monitoring.
Booking and Payment
Full payment is required prior to surgery.
This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or promotions, including 0% finance.
