Jim's story

Jim, an electrician, noticed his eyesight was deteriorating when he began experiencing cloudy patches in one of his eyes. His optician then referred him to Newmedica in Grimsby. It was less than 3 weeks from being referred to Newmedica that Jim had his life-altering cataract surgery.

Getting referred to Newmedica

If you think you have an eye condition, you should see your optician or GP for a detailed assessment. They’ll go through all the options available and tell you where you can have your treatment.
