Newmedica named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Women for the second year

Newmedica has been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Women 2026 by Great Place to Work®—marking the second consecutive year the organisation has achieved the accolade.

The recognition is based on feedback from Newmedica colleagues and reflects the organisation’s continued commitment to creating an inclusive workplace where women feel supported, valued and able to thrive.

It follows a series of Great Place to Work® achievements shaped by colleague feedback. Newmedica has been certified as a Great Place to Work® for the third year running, ranked among the UK’s top 30 Best Workplaces™ for 2026, and recognised as one of the UK’s best workplaces for Development and Wellbeing.

Terri Astbury, Clinical Training Lead and Newmedica’s newly appointed Diversity and Inclusion Lead, said:

“This recognition is particularly meaningful because it’s based on feedback from our colleagues.

“It reflects the experiences of women across our organisation and the steps we’ve taken to create a workplace where people feel supported, included and able to develop their careers.

“Thank you to everyone who helps make Newmedica a great place to work.”

The latest recognition highlights Newmedica’s dedication to building a workplace where colleagues have equal opportunities to progress, develop their skills and contribute to the organisation’s mission of providing outstanding eye care.

Newmedica will continue listening to its colleagues and building on their feedback to create an inclusive culture in which everyone can succeed.
