Mr Ahmed Saad is a consultant ophthalmologist with more than 18 years’ experience in eye care. He currently works at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and he is the Clinical Lead for vitreoretinal surgery at both South Tees Hospitals and Newmedica Middlesbrough.
He has performed thousands of retinal and cataract surgeries, achieving excellent success rates.
Mr Saad trained in ophthalmology in the UK and overseas and he is on the GMC Specialist Register. Alongside his clinical work, he is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Hull York Medical School, where he's involved in teaching, research and national examinations.
