Introducing our cataract booklet
Providing your customers with the best possible care is a priority for Newmedica, as we know it is for you. We recently undertook a significant research survey to understand how we can further enhance and personalise our service. Customers shared how shocked, anxious, and frightening being told having a cataract is, and how fearful they were about what happens next.
As a result, we’ve created a new cataract booklet for optometrists to use in conversations with patients, which details:
What a cataract is
The procedure to replace cataracts
Information about each stage of the care journey
What to do before and after surgery
Other patients’ experiences
Frequently asked questions.

Supporting you and your customers
As Newmedica was founded by a former eyecare patient and leading ophthalmology consultant, we’ve a different perspective than other providers.
We’re focused on providing exceptional clinical care, we also know that patients receive the best outcomes when we work in partnership with their optometrist.
We’ll continue to support you and your customers, through the latest clinical information, education materials, like our new cataract booklet, and updates on patient treatments and any ongoing care needed.

Couldn't be any easier. Walked in at 8.30am and after filling out the paperwork I went to have my eye treatment. Started with eye drops, then on to the operation, where everything was so clean, then walked out the door at 10am and home to rest. If you need cataract surgery, go to this company.
