The Newmedica Bristol - Aztec West eye health clinic and surgical centre operates from 720 Waterside Drive, Aztec West and provides services for both NHS-funded and private patients.

The clinic is led by consultant ophthalmologists, Johannes Keller, George Kiousis and William Sheehan, alongside operational director, Julian Phillips.

How to find us

We are situated on Aztec West, Bristol’s premier business park. Located within 1.5 miles of the M4/M5 interchange, the eye health clinic and surgical centre gives easy access for patients from the Southwest and South Wales.

By car

From M5 Exit M5 motorway at Junction 16 (Thornbury/Filton) and follow signs for Aztec West. Aztec West hotel will be on your left-hand side. On arrival at Aztec West enter the roundabout and take the first exit. Following signs for building 720 at the end of Waterside Drive, BS32 4UD.

From Bristol City Centre Follow the A38 towards Thornbury / Filton. Follow the M32 and M4 for M5. Once travelling South on M5. Exit M5 motorway at Junction 16 (Thornbury/Filton) and follow signs for Aztec West. Aztec West hotel will be on your left-hand side. On arrival at Aztec West enter the roundabout and take the first exit. Following signs for building 720 at the end of Waterside Drive, BS32 4UD.

By bus

Bus M1 Alight at ‘Aztec West’ roundabout ‘Stop B’. This will be a short 14-minute walk to the clinic.

Bus 75 Alight at stop ‘Bradley Road’, for a short 6-minute walk to the clinic.

By train

Patchway Station This is approximately 2.6 miles from our site. Taxi journeys should be approximately 10 minutes in normal traffic.

Bristol Parkway This is approximately 3.5 miles from our site. Taxi journeys should be approximately 20 minutes in normal traffic. There are some buses from Parkway, although all will also require some walking. For example, you can take the number 19 (approximately 1 per hour) to the Bourton Avenue stop, 1 mile from the clinic.

If you think you have an eye condition, you should see your optician or GP for a detailed assessment. They’ll go through all the options available and tell you where you can have your treatment.
